The Hilton Lafayette is located on busy Pinhook Road. This full service property features the Maximillian Restaurant, but eateries of all types are walking distance. If you still seek the classic designs of older hotels, this property fits the bill. It is perfect for business travelers seeking all their amenities and services available in one location. This is one of the few hotels in Lafayette that can accommodate any banquet and convention needs for up to 700 people in one room; with breakouts that could accommodate another 300 in various configurations. The hotel is centrally located with access to downtown, the Cajundome, Oil Center and West Lafayette.

The hotel was very accommodating to our family. Our overall experience was very enjoyable. Thank you for putting up with our team. They are super excited to be able to attend the World Series and were on fire. The hotel was clean, safe and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the cleaning ladies on the 9th floor for checking in on us and ensuring our rooms were clean, restocked coffee pods and clean towels. Thank you Double Tree, I also left a review on my Google reviews.

"Unrealistic PONY hotel."

This hotel was everything anti youth sports. We stayed the week for the Louisiana PONY World Series. Aside from the basic necessities that should come from a hotel when booking for a softball tournament, we received letters coming back from a long day of softball. The hotel issued curfews for players and stated on the flyer that outside food was not permitted to be brought in and eaten at the lobby of the hotel but then contradicted themselves by creating a cutout and had it placed as the first thing you see when you enter the hotel: “No outside food and drinks allowed; enjoy the services at our lobby bar”. The night we saw this, my child had a late game due to rain finished by 9:30 and by the time we got our food it was past 10. I complained in the morning and the front desk stated, “oh, we don't enforce it” yet you all go out of your way to make a cutout and post it in your front lobby? We tried having breakfast here one morning no cereal, took 10 minutes for them to bring me my water, never received my kids milks and no mushrooms or cheese for the omelets. Yes, definitely “enjoy” the services with the hotels restaurant. WARNING: BEDS ARE SMALL. Next complaint: the flyer said it was their “preference” that our sports equipment not be brought in to the hotel yet they ask that you take all valuables off your vehicle. What they fail to understand is that the sports equipment goes hand in hand for the whole reason we traveled 9+ hours to this tournament. Softball bag $200, gloves $600, bats, $800. Seems valuable to me. Pool hours on the sign stated it was until 10 pm and the man was kicking us out right before 9 saying those hours are wrong, 9 it's closed. Pool towels on the flyer how can you ask for us not to take towels from our rooms when “towels are available poolside”, yet there NEVER was towels available. No ventilation in the restrooms and the biggest complaint all week (even from your house keepers) the most UNREALISTIC room trashcans and insane traffic to exit the hotel. The only plus I can say about this hotel and our stay was your front staff. I'm sure I was not the only person who complained about the outside food, but once we came back from the tournament that sign was down. The women that work front desk are literally the SWEETEST humans ever.
