The best time to visit Belleville, Michigan, is from mid-May to early October when temperatures range from the high 40s to mid-80s. Rainfall is typical for this time of the year, and averages around 25 inches from May to October. You have more time to visit Michigan during the optimal weather because the temperatures are never too hot. Plus, there is less humidity in the area, so the winter lows feel warmer and the summer highs feel cooler than other parts of the country.
During the winter Belleville is less inviting. Snowfall for the area is higher than average for the United States, which is 26 inches. The winter weather conditions make for poor road conditions, so winter is especially bad for out-of-town guests with little to no snow driving experience. During this time of the year the temperature is usually frigidly cold in the evenings and throughout the night.

Previously the Crowne Plaza, this property underwent an extensive multi-million-dollar renovation in 2011. The renovation included new Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds. The town was small and rather quaint, but had a good selection of reasonable restaurants, and it was within a reasonable driving distance from the airport and from some of the attractions in the Detroit area.
