I had seen many so so reviews of the Hu Hotel so I admit to being wary. BUT, we had a wonderful stay. The old converted building is beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms are very large and comfortable. Keep in mind this is a converted old building so appreciate the charm and overlook the few small rug stains or chipped tiles. Everything is clean, plenty of wall plugs and towels. Check in with Ariana was simple and she was a delight, making sure we had two rooms near each other. Breakfast in the morning for $15 was plentiful and fresh. Ms. Bertha was on top of keeping it clean and resupplying the dishes. The location was great with a short walk to Beale Street and history. There is no valet but if you pull up in front you can unload and then move to a convenient parking garage near by. A great stay. If you are travelling though Memphis overnight, enjoy the Hu Hotel instead of the usual travel hotels as we always did in the past. Glad we gave it a try.
