Property Description
Pena D'Água opened at the end of December 2020, in the heart of the historic area of Covilhã. With a mountain accommodation vocation, our hotel is surrounded by natural beauty, and close to the Serra da Estrela Tower. Our accommodation has 15 equally distinctive rooms and 4 suites in a building with an original essence dating from the late 19th century in the Art Nouveau style, one of the few examples of this architectural style in Covilhã. Our 8 villas, with contemporary and minimalist architecture, are located in a higher area surrounded by olive trees and a spring water source that springs from the Serra da Estrela and also fills our pools. In our Açafrão Restaurant, located in the building, we bring out local flavors with a broad view of the world and signature cuisine, being a distinct experience of flavors.At Pena D'Água Boutique Hotel & Villas, nature takes care in multiple combinations. Revitalizing massages with a touch of class, water therapy and handpicked mountain scents. There is no lack of experiences to mark your stay. Between wines and paths, open views or guided tours, sport or relaxation, we guide you through our extras. Those who want to venture up the slopes of the mountains can count on our electric bikes or choose a tour in a 8 seat luxury Mercedes or a 4x4 through the region.
