When we called to make reservations, we were assured there were not shared bathrooms, but that wasn't true. The rooms are nice, quaint and old fashioned, but be prepared to share toilet and showers with everyone.

We are a modern Historic 23-Room 3 Star Boutique Hotel centrally located in charming downtown Camas, Washington. Walking distance to many shops, art galleries & restaurants. We offer many different packages such as... romance packages, growler packages and much more! Discounts available for AAA, Seniors:60+, Government/Military.
Camas, Washington offers easy access to most major freeways, and is just minutes from Portland International Airport. Our award winning hotel is located about 15 miles or less from downtown Portland attractions like Voodoo Doughnuts, Lloyd Center, Pioneer Place, Portland Japanese Garden, International Rose Test Garden, Moda Center, Veterans Memorial Coliseum and Oregon Convention Center.
The hotel also features on-site restaurant/bar and a boutique clothing store. Our guests can enjoy fresh daily morning coffee and teas, free continental breakfast, free off-street parking, great concierge service, local breweries and restaurants within walking distance, plus, enjoy complimentary high-speed WiFi throughout the hotel. Those booking our "Ensuite" rooms will receive free tickets to our local historic movie theater within walking distance.
History
Established in 1911, The Camas Hotel is the oldest commercial building in Camas, and we have owned it since 2008. Remodeling the building has been a labor of love, and it is gratifying that many guests from all over the world are now enjoying the hotel, and the sweet town of Camas. It is also gratifying to see the downtown grow alongside the hotel, with lots of new restaurants, shops and salons. Midweek visits include complimentary tickets to the historic Liberty Theater, just a block away.
As a historic hotel, we do not have rooms with 2 queen beds like many chains have. We do have nicely appointed rooms, cotton linens, free movie tickets Sun-Thursday and a great location with excess to 15 different restaurants, shops and spas within easy walking distance, and easy access to either Portland or the beautiful Columbia River Gorge.

Natural cosmetics ( Philosophy) ecofriendly soap and natural vinegar for fabric softener. Recycle glass, plastic and cardboard, passive solar design with sunroom, etc.

Our secodn floor atrium, which serves as our breakfast room in the morning is a light filled tiled room suitable for small meetings or parties. It can seat about 16-18 on the 4 round tables, but could seat more in a classroom arrangement. It is suitable for small cocktail parties, and other events as well. Food service is available from adjoining restaurant. Room has extra doors and can be sealed off.
