"Mediocre Hotel"

We stayed at this hotel, in a two queen room on the 3rd floor, for two nights over a February weekend. The hotel felt safe with good lightening outside and inside. Our room was clean but around the outside of the tub was dirt. The beds were spring beds that I thought hotels had updated to a memory foam or hybrid. The first night we had no air or heat in the room. I discussed this with the front desk and they put a new wall control unit. Unfortunately the heat worked but not the cool air meaning it was extremely warm in the room. I told the desk again at exit but this did not seem to concern them. The back outside door key card entrance was not working on day two or when we left. No sign was in place so we and others had to call to have it opened by staff. The bathroom was spacious and water pressure was good. The breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold items. The staff were semi friendly, meaning some acknowledged us and others did not. The hotel is undergoing construction but we were only there at night so the sounds did not disturb us. We travel to this area at least once a year but will find another hotel next time.

We are located in a quite corporate business park just 2 miles from Albany International Airport. It is a relaxing place to stay after a busy day of site seeing with the family or an all day business meeting. Each of our professionally decorated guest rooms have a mini fridge and microwave oven. There is an indoor pool, fitness room and guest laundry. We also provide a business center, suite shop(convenience store) and breakfast buffet. Our Mohawk meeting room is 576 sq ft. and can accommodate up to 30 people classroom style. Our Latham, NY location puts you 10 miles from downtown Albany, 12 miles from Clifton Park, 25 miles from Saratoga and 40 miles from Lake George.To reach the Hampton Inn & Suites take exit 6 off Route 87 (the Northway) Follow 3 miles west on Route 7 (Troy Schenectady Road). Hotel is on left at 45 British American Boulevard.
