We have stayed multiple times and always end up here when we are in the Grand Rapids area. This visit was to attend a relatives funeral. We realized after we checked in and got to our room that the timing of the funeral would mean we'd have to fly back to North Carolina in our dress clothes that we wore to the funeral. Thanks to the great staff at this location and especially Kari Lee, who suggested even though it would be past normal check out time, she would extend the time so we would have plenty of time to come back after the funeral and still have access to our room to change clothes more suited for an eight hour trip back to NC. We are so grateful to her for helping us out. Every employer can only wish for employees who display the kindness and empathy that Kari showed us. We will continue to be repeat clients of this hotel.
