Property description
The Evelyn is now offering newly residential inspired rooms with references to an Art Nouveau Style. Our NoMad hotel is inspired by the musical and art heritage of the neighborhood, which was the epicenter of the popular music industry in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The music theme is reflected throughout the rooms, corridors and bathrooms. The Evelyn has just completed a $25 million renovation, with a brand new lobby/lounge, 3 food/beverage outlets courtesy of Chef Jonathan Benno (formerly of Per Se and Lincoln). Leonelli Taberna is located on the main floor, offering flatbreads with spreads, croquettes, antipasti, bruschettas and assorted salumi to start. The bar area is open until 1am offering craft cocktails. Leonelli Focacceria e Pasticceria, a bakery and cafe serving organic coffee and Italian pastries. On the mezzanine level, guests may enjoy Assouline, a book boutique which offers a quiet place to sip coffee and read/shop their impressive book collection. Both outlets are set to open Summer 2018. Fall 2018 will see the debut of our upscale dining restaurant, Benno, which will provide a Mediterranean-inspired rustic culinary experience.The NoMad District (now also known as "NoMad" - North of Madison Square Park) is now one of Manhattan's most popular neighborhoods, characterized by its beautiful and historic architecture, exceptional bars and restaurants tucked away on quiet side streets, and many other attractions.
