Wonderful stay! Everyone who works at the reception desk is extremely friendly and highly knowledgeable. Maria, who works during the evening, is especially kind and welcoming and after a full day of grueling travel from up north, her warm greetings and beneficial information was extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. Also, the manager of the restaurant and Paula were extremely kind to me. The employees make us feel so welcomed and the extra efforts were much appreciated.

Hyatt Sarasota on Sarasota Bay is truly a unique hotel situated in a beautiful, tropical, resort setting. Centrally located in the heart of Sarasota's vibrant and dynamic Cultural Arts District, our hotel is just blocks from Historic Downtown Sarasota and adjacent to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall and the G-Wiz Hands-on Science Museum. Shopping and dining opportunities are endless as well.The Hyatt Sarasota takes pride in announcing its recent multi-million dollar renovations to the Hotel and grounds. November 2000 marked the unveiling of our newly constructed 10,000 sq ft “Sarasota Ballroom”, and 2001 for the renovation of our guestrooms and corridors. Our $1.5 million dollar Lagoon swimming pool completed last October, features cascading waterfalls, tropical landscaping, whirlpool spa, pool bar, game room and laundry facilities. We also rebuilt our marina and have added 32-slip Bellingham Floating Dock System, which is awesome. In addition, the front and back entrances to the hotel have been enhanced with brick paver walkways and a magnificent modern piece of artwork that stands 20' high in front. The lush tropical grounds, our resort-lagoon swimming pool, Bellingham 32 slip floating dock Marina system and state-of-the-art Conference Center, will inspire the group in our captivating surroundings.The Hotel boasts of a new lagoon style pool…the most dramatic pool on the West Coast of Florida. This 130'' pool has a zero-entry depth, as well as 30'' waterfalls as its focal point. It also includes a twelve-person whirlpool spa and state of the art cascading water features, while over looking the private Hyatt Marina on Sarasota Bay.Additional on site amenities include: bicycle rentals, an arcade, laundry facilities, a fitness center with private massages available and fishing/sightseeing excursions provided by many local's to include Chitwood Charters from our private marina. Our marina is an extension of the property leading to the waterways, beaches & the many recreational options Sarasota has to offer. The opportunities from the Hyatt Sarasota marina are endless!
