Property Description
In the heart of the historic centre of Toulon, in the newly renovated “Rue des Arts” neighbourhood, L'Eautel **** faces the harbour and the bay, elected as the most prestigious in Europe. The privileged location of L'Eautel allows direct access to the city, the historic tourist sites, beaches and Toulon's Harbour.
Three 17th century buildings have been joined and remodelled into a charming 62 room hotel. Its' unique décor is inspired by the water theme and its' historic relationship with the city of Toulon. Its' 19th century glass canopy is credited to the Eiffel workshops and was entirely restored to welcome the bar-restaurant l'Equerre.
L'Equerre, the bistronomic restaurant or l'Eautel welcomes you under a fully restored 19th century glass canopy made by the Eiffel workshops, offering a wonderful lighting and scene. In the reflection of that glass canopy, the terrazzo floors with designs inspired from the marine's alphabet, shares the space with a mahogany parquet, giving the feeling of travelling on a boat deck.
As for the Kitchen, recipes from the Mediterranean and local culture are revisited by a contemporary style. Our Chef Yoann Silve, trained by some of France's most talented starred Chefs, invites you to come discover his creations under the glass dome or outside on the terrace Place de l'Equerre.
