I stayed as part of a small group of 10 people. We gathered to celebrate the life of friend that had passed through death. A woman by the name of Tarik Stephen was especially helpful in assisting me solve a problem regarding my preparation of the eulogy for our ceremony. I am very grateful for her assistance. The Courtyard in Shippensburg is lovely and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. We had dinner in the bistro and the food was very good. The staff are very helpful and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Property Description
Courtyard by Marriott located on the back of Shippensburg University's campus behind Seth Grove Stadium, directly beside the Shippensburg University Conference Center.Our hotel has 110 sleeping rooms including 57 king rooms, 48 queen/queen rooms and 5 suites on 4 floors. Our rooms are equipped with modern furnishings; flat screen TV with Netflix, Hulu+, Pandora, YouTube and more; refrigerator; iHome, hair dryer; and an iron with an ironing board. King rooms are equipped with a walk-in shower while the queen rooms have bathtubs/showers. Our rooms offer either a view of Shippensburg University or the mountains.On the first floor, guests have access to our indoor salt water pool and spa, a spacious fitness center and guest laundry. Our lobby area features a wealth of upgrades with special touches to incorporate the colors and features of Shippensburg University. Our lobby includes a Bistro with the Marriott approved Bistro+ menu offering crab cakes, filet mignon, NY strip, salmon and more. The beautiful bar made of reclaimed barn wood extends to fit 24 bar stools and displays eight beers on tap as well as a full beer, wine and liquor menu. From the lobby, our guests have access to our spacious patio with a gas fire pit and grill.
