If you look past the upkeep this property needs like yard work, paint, decor updates, it's a place to get a good night's sleep. Clean and comfortable. Not a five star for sure, but met our needs. Priced well.

The Hotel Indigo is an award-winning boutique hotel nestled in the heart of beautiful Vernon Hills, located within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The hotel features studio suites that are 25% larger than a standard hotel room with 2-double beds and a queen pullout sofa sleeper or 1-king bed and a queen sofa sleeper. The studio suites have a unique design that stands out from other hotels, and also includes complimentary WIFI, a plush bedding package, hardwood floors with area rugs, spa-inspired showers, flat-panel TVs, Aveda toiletries, Andis hairdryers, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, coffeemaker and work desk. Microwaves can be requested and are based on availability. The hotel also features the 450 North Bistro & Bar (open for breakfast and dinner), room service, indoor heated pool, fitness center (The fitness center is available from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM) and business center. The Hotel Indigo in Vernon Hills is located 2 blocks south of the Westfield Hawthorn Mall, which has over 150 stores. There is also additional shopping as well as over 30 casual & fine-dining restaurants within 1 mile of the hotel. Additional local attractions include Cuneo Mansion and Gardens, Whirlyball, White Deer Run Golf Course, Brunswick Bowling, Great Lakes Navy Base, Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor, Gurnee Mills, Chicago Botanic Gardens and Ravinia Festival. The hotel is also located 25 miles north of downtown Chicago.
