We enjoyed downtown. Kind of quaint with many really good restaurants, all within walking distance of the hotel.
We are big fans of the arboretum; it's great to get out and walk or run after a day of car travel.

Great location for easy access to everything!
Davis visit was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the farmers' market and city charm.
So many cafes! I also liked the co-op. The outdoor arboretum is world class! The town is clean and the vibe is friendly. Bookstores, breweries, bike shops, sports shops right there in a well laid out place. Also a grand farmer's market!
Downtown Davis is excellent because everything is close and it's got so many options (particularly food). It felt relatively safe at night. It was family oriented. I like the way downtown is convenient to the freeway too. The city has a decidedly mellow vibe which fit me perfectly. :)
Loved downtown! Lots of fun shops and restaurants. Listening to college students discussions was a pleasant break from national and world news!!
Davis is a very nice little town with great places to eat with a lot of history.
The staff was friendly and welcoming. Hotel was very clean. My daughter is a wonderful Pre-med major at 20 and I'm 81 neat.
The food!
I enjoyed exploring the university, the Arboretum walk in particular. Davis is a lovely small town.
UC Davis.
We did like the options of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
Beautiful and peaceful stay.
Davis is a great city! Downtown area is cute with tons of restaurants. It is pretty reasonably priced due to being a college town. I would definitely sign up for this soccer tourney again. I hope my daughter decides to go to school here!
