Red Lion Inn & Suites Nashville Airport

I visited the Nashville Airport Inn & Suites and met with their Sales Manager Trisha Breeden. We did a full property tour which began with my easily finding the property and parking. I was immediately greeted upon entering the lobby. The lobby is clean and bright with a seating area, coffee station, commissary and breakfast room. Continental breakfast is served each morning and includes one hot item. Off the lobby is an outdoor pool. All of their rooms are very spacious and offer refrigerators, microwaves and coffee makers, in additional many of their rooms have full kitchens which is ideal for a long term stay. This property offers a value that is hard to beat, all while being conveniently located to the highway, airport and downtown. They have a boardroom which can accommodate up to twenty and also a banquet space with full kitchen and can accommodate approximately one hundred people depending on set up. This property is ideal with the person looking for a long term stay.

I have seen this hotel first hand, and can tell you that I would feel comfortable staying here. This hotel is in a quiet and safe location. The rooms are spacious and clean. Yes, this is an older hotel, but that does not make it dirty. Given that the hotel is upgrading a little at a time as well, you can see the commitment they have to creating a better guest experience. So far, they have new paint, granite counter tops, refrigerators, and are working on updating furnishings. Carpets have been added to the plan, though they did not look any worse than other hotel carpets.Lastly, you do get breakfast with your already low rate, and a really nice outdoor pool. I can truly say you should give this hotel a chance if you are on a budget, but need a comfortable stay. You will be surprised with this little diamond in the rough.If you are used to staying in upper-level hotels this will not make you happy, but if you are like myself and just look for a clean, comfortable and quiet place to lay your head, this will be the perfect place.

The Nashville Airport Inn & Suites is definitely a great value for your money. I have personally seen a number of rooms, and the overall property. While somewhat dated, the rooms were clean, and this is one of few hotels where you can have an option of bedrooms. Yes, bedrooms. Some rooms are virtual one-to-two bedroom apartments with full kitchens and living rooms. Is every room perfect? No, but I have seen some four-star hotels with imperfections, and the staff at Nashville Airport Inn is quick to move you if the rooms does not meet your standards. They listen to their guests.The area is also safe and quiet. Some clients have even left their cars parked there while flying out of town. Overall, if you are looking for a high-end modern hotel, this will not work for you, but if you are looking for a hotel that is comfortable and meets basic needs without killing your budget, you cannot go wrong with this property. I would personally feel comfortable staying here, and I am picky!
