Located West of Fort Worth, just ninety minutes from DFW International Airport guests will experience Texas on a 1,500-acre ranch. With Angus and Longhorn cattle, guests can have a hands-on experience horseback riding with local Cowboys, clay shooting, Ranch Tours or settle back in our beautiful pool. After a day on the trails, relax in the upscale western accommodations. Wildcatter Steakhouse serves authentic Texas cuisine including hand-cut, Mesquite grilled steaks and many local favorites, along with a great selection of Texas beer, wine and spirits.
Wildcatter guestrooms share the beauty of western design and Texas culture. Our sixteen cabin suites each feature a stone fireplace, custom furnishings and a back porch overlooking the Brazos River Valley. The unique artwork in each cabin suite tells the stories of our local Texas history making the room unforgettable. The hotel features sixteen guestrooms located on the second floor with beautiful wrought iron beds and western art. The first floor of the hotel is inviting for guests to relax in a casual setting with the soaring fireplace and staircase. Year round the hotel lobby makes for a great way to relax and ready for the next adventure of the day. The front desk, conference rooms and gift shop are located on the first floor of the hotel.
In addition to our guestrooms, there are three guest homes on the property. The Homestead, our rustic stay located by the barn, features two bedrooms, one bath, living room and kitchen. While staying at The Homestead you are getting a true cowboy experience! OT's Cabin is located as you first come up the hill, with two bedrooms and baths, living area and kitchen. OT's Cabin is ideal for a secluded ranch stay. The Estate is 14,000 square foot luxury home located privately on 24 acres at the ranch overlooking the Brazos River Valley. The home has four bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom, private pool with grotto style hot tub, game room, gourmet kitchen and dining area for sixteen all centered around the two story great room with a stone fireplace
Wildcatter Ranch & Resort offers a variety of activities to enjoy. Complimentary activities include feeding the longhorns at nine each morning, hiking on Kisinger Mountain, swimming in the infinity pool, catch and release at the Fishing Hole & more! Adding to the Texas ranch experience, guests may sign up for additional activities. Advance reservations are highly recommended.
