Hotel Real La Merced is an eighteen-room hotel located in Granada, Nicaragua. The Hotel, a mansion of great fame, was restored at the end of 2014 preserving the original architecture and highlighting the last hundred years of Nicaraguan history.Almost abandoned for over thirty years, the new owners wanted to rebuild one of the most beautiful and representative mansions of Granada at the intersection of Calle Real and Avenida 14 de Septiembre. Overcoming “the violence of time” has been a challenge and remains a great success thanks to a carefully planned reconstruction, respecting the original plan, with the proportions of rooms with high ceilings, and adding the mechanisms of air conditioning, services and connectivity of an international hotel.In an environment free of noise pollution, Guests at Hotel Real La Merced are very close to the city center and its tourist attractions, while other events such as quinceañeras celebrations, photo sessions, documentaries… are organized in Hotel Real La Merced to take advantage of the environment so well preserved from a bygone era.To learn even more about the Mansion of yesterday and the Hotel of today, we propose you a historical visit when you stay with us.
