Papaya Holiday Home is a family run Bed and breakfast, set in a beautiful converted family home. The spacious and homely character of the rooms have been preserved; giving the BnB a very relaxing atmosphere.The guest house is situated in the popular Tank Hill Muyenga area of Kampala, with the characteristic greenery of Kampala hills. Though only 15 minutes from the city center, the lush tropical vegetation of Tank Hill gives Papaya Holiday Home the feeling of a country home. There are 8 bedrooms each with a private bathroom able to accommodate up to 20 guests. Papaya Holiday Home is on a compound of landscaped tropical themed garden, with fantastic views of Kampala hills. Throughout the guest house, the atmosphere is very relaxing, and homely; the large family sized bedrooms, the open and airy welcome lounge, and the TV and tea areas.There are spacious verandas and a courtyard gazebo where breakfast and dinners are served; the extension of indoors / outdoors. Here guests are also able to work taking advantage of free WIFI or simply unwind at the end of the day with chilled glass of juice, beer or wine. For tea and coffee lovers, the café serves good coffee and tea and freshly home made snacks. Papaya also offers a practical solution for accommodation for family reunions, wedding groups, and organisations on working holidays who would like to book the whole house at a discounted rate. Group booking has been very popular and accounts for 50% of bookings. Since opening doors to guests in 2014, it has consistently earned excellent reviews for comfortable and spotlessly clean bedrooms, for excellent breakfast and other meals, and for friendly service as well as value for money.
