"Disappointing Stay"

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years but this visit was a bit of a shock. The first shock was the price of the rooms double what I am used to. I reserved two rooms on my name and the rooms were on the 2nd and 4th floors. This became a further nuisance since I had lost my purse in traveling to PA. I couldn't communicate with my family because I had no phone and I could not believe there was not a phone in the room. Staff was absent when I was checking out and had to be retrieved and that person appeared confused about my reservations. Finally I thought I had reached this hotel directly when I made the reservations. I even asked if I were speaking directly to the hotel and the person said yes. When we arrived, I was told there were additional charges from Expedia. I believe I was conned. All these things were made more difficult for me because the reason for my being there was that we would attend a burial for my husband at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery. One final complaint is that the breakfast food that was supposed to be hot was not hot. I am sorry to have so many negative things to say because none of these things happened in past years.
