I love the Shinola. I've stayed here approximately 7 times in the last 20 months. You have to get the TV situation rectified. I'm having a staycation here to bring in the new year and can't binge watch shows because the TV has no apps and when I try to cast from my phone the connection is weak. The hotel is too nice to fail on a simple amenity.

Beautiful room but the A/C wouldn't stay at our desired temperature. We would set at 68 and then one hr later it would move up to 74. Very annoying and unable to get a good nights sleep. Noisy area due to local bar scene as well.

Really enjoyed the hotel and the staff. Attended a wedding in their event space and it was very cool and had good food. Detroit has turned the corner and this hotel is part of the transformation.
