The St. Regis is a gorgeous, 5-star luxury hotel in the city's Soma district, located right next to Moscone Center and attached to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. This property is an excellent combination of tasteful luxury and chic style. You could even say that it is the perfect blend of the other 3 San Francisco Starwood hotels - Luxurious like the Westin but a little more stylized, elegant like The Palace without being so lofty, and trendy like The W without overwhelming their guests. You truly can not go wrong with this hotel. And, their service is exceptional, receiving some of the best reviews I have ever heard. While most hotels impress me primarily with their lobby or common areas, I was actually most impressed by this hotel's sleeping rooms, which were bright, spacious, and excellently styled. This would be a fine property for a meeting or social event, really almost anything a group could conceive of. The prices are quite reasonable for a city-center 5 star property, and I recommend it highly.
