MS Kenora, a 190 passenger cruise ship that takes guests on a glorious tour of Lake of the Woods. Huskie the Muskie - 40 foot tall outdoor sculpture. The Lake of the Woods is what Kenora is known for and fishing is in abundance. There are numerous beaches within a 5-10 min drive from the motel. Downtown Kenora is just a 10 minute walk away along our beautiful greenbelt. Super 8 has a connecting trail to Tunnel Island located behind the property. Great for hiking or a relaxing walk. Minutes away from downtown shopping.

Property Description
Super 8 Kenora is the newest motel in the city boasting clean and friendly guest rooms and superior front desk customer service. We are situated on Tunnel Island on Hwy 17 coming in to Kenora. Lake of the Woods is directly across the street, The Lake of the Woods is what Kenora is known for and fishing is in abundance. There are numerous beaches within a 5-10 min drive from the motel. Downtown Kenora is just a 10 minute walk away along our beautiful greenbelt.
Super 8 Kenora by Wyndham added a new addition in October 2007. A conference and Banquet Facility named "Minis Hall" (Ojibway for Island) that can accommodate up to 100 people for conferences, banquets, meetings, and gatherings.The hall is Octagonal in shape and is made out of Stone, Wood, Fire, and Light to pay tribute to our First Nations Heritage. Along with our Minis Hall we also have to offer a smaller boardroom named "Miikana" (ojibway for Trails) that can accommodate up to 15 people.
There are beautiful walking trails right behind the motel for our guests to enjoy. which we have recently added a connecting trial from the motel. Many other attractions are close by including the MS Kenora, a 190 passenger cruise ship that takes guests on a glorious tour of Lake of the Woods. Great shopping can be found in Kenora, everything from larger stores to quaint little shops that are unique to the area.
If hunting is more your style, then the Super 8 Kenora can offer you a great time.
After your day of shopping, sightseeing or exploring, come to Casey's Bar & Grill located in the same parking lot of Super 8. Casey's is known for great food, great service and great fun.
