We are located a short 5 minute walk to Doheny State Beach. Short two minute walk to the Catalina Express. Disneyland is only 35 miles from us and about a 45 minute drive away. Knott's Berry Farm is 41 miles and about a 50 minute drive. The famous Mission San Juan Capistrano is 5 miles away and a quick 10 minute drive.

Towel racks please! A bar to grab onto while in shower. I know there will be no upgrades as a new hotel is coming. I hope the new rates will be similar so we can continue to stay here! We love Dana Point!

This was one of the most disappointing hotels we have ever stayed in. The door jamb of our room had been pulled out and had nails showing. The air conditioner was so loud, even ear plugs didn't help. There were so many things that needed updating that I can't list them all. It is criminal that they charge $330 for this room. My sister's room was even worse. The carpet in her room was so filthy, I would never have someone stay there. She had water dripping through the ceiling in her shower whenever the people above her took a shower. To say this place is a dump is an understatement. The only positive thing is the front desk staff were very nice.

Nice hotel in a great location. You can't beat the location of this hotel. It's right in the marina with access to shops and restaurants right from the front door. The views are incredible in all directions. The hotel is only a minute or so away from the PCH so its easy to get to any other location you might want to visit.
