Guess some people don't like the old section of the Inn. The bed was great and clean. The room squeaks from the old wood. You can hear the stairs creak from people walking on them. It's old and it's cool. Quit being a whiner and get the old room. The courtyard is cool too.

We had a room booked in the main hotel but they gave us an upgrade to a junior suite because our room wasn`t ready. It was the nicest room we have ever stayed at. Huge room, big comfortable beds, fireplace in the living area with a couch and loveseat. Private patio with great views. Firewood when needed. Restaurant with great food, lounge with music and great service. All of our future trips we will be staying there.

The Sagebrush Inn & Suites, built in 1929 with 17 rooms, and now with 156 rooms and suites has been a gathering place for travelers, artists, actors, conferences and colorful locals for more than 85 years. Under new ownership and management, the hotel sleeping rooms have been updated with new bed linen package, carpet, paint, curtains, flat screen TVs, faster Wi-Fi, remodeled restaurant, new outdoor hot tub area and Bocce Ball Court. The original Sagebrush Inn is a Taos landmark built in 1929 of adobe and huge, hand-hewn vigas. The original adobe structure, part of which is now the Cantina and Lobby, houses an impressive collection of artwork. Your guests can relax in our unique rooms and suites decorated with hand-carved furniture, Mexican tiled baths and local artwork and enjoy our peaceful, shaded courtyards and portal-lined garden areas to enjoy the experience that is Taos. The Sagebrush Inn has many amenities for your group to enjoy, including property wide complimentary wireless internet, two on site restaurants, full service bar and cantina with live music every night, a fitness room, Bocce Ball Court, an outdoor pool and hot tub. There are many activities in Taos that families can enjoy, including the Southside Spa, only a block away, golf at the nearby Taos Country Club, river rafting, hiking, fishing, birding, horseback riding, museum and gallery hopping, shopping, an historic walking tour of Taos's historic district, and hot air ballooning. Adults can also enjoy wine tastings at a local winery tasting room, and dancing and cocktails in our bar. We also coordinate the Ladies' spa treatments with nearby spas.
