1. Website showed lower priced rooms, but then referred me to a phone number to make the reservation, where the cost jumped significantly. 2. Asked if there were microwaves and was told yes. Technically that was true because there was only one in the entire hotel and it was on the first floor. 3. There was mold on a floorboard. 4. There was no air conditioning in the hall or elevators. The website said there was a free breakfast. My receipt recommended a restaurant four miles away. 5. The staff was rude, definitely not welcoming. They were more concerned that I didn't bring pets or plan on smoking than me as a guest. 6. The water temperature in the shower was fine, but there was limited water pressure. The bath towel was about the size of a hand towel (which is not very big). There were no extra towels or pillows, probably because there was no closet in the room to store them in only a rack on the wall with some hangars. 7. The picture on the TV had poor reception. 8. The fire alarm or test (no one knew which) went off at 7:45 am. No staff came by or called us what to do when this happened. 9. Long story short I have no intention of using this hotel again and am unsure if I would trust another Holiday Inn or IHG hotel if this is the quality of their service. Dr. Kathy Gibson.
