Motels can be well worn. This motel has dirty sidewalks, cobwebbed walls, chipped paint and a tired exterior. BUT, once you enter the room everything is simply in its place. Clean, swept and scrubbed. The hard floors cannot accumulate dust and filth, so they are fresh and clean. The simple modular furnishings are in top condition. The walls are refreshingly painted with no peeling wallpaper or residual smell. The ample lighting is thoughtfully positioned to offer options in lighting intensity. The quality mattress is covered in appropriatly simple bedding. The inside experience makes one forget the outside experience.

I think Motel 6 gets a bad rap. Security was good, it was clean and quiet. Everything was just fine and I still have some money to grab some food, etc.
