The place was clean and comfortable. The restaurant waffle spot is attached to the hotel and food was good.Only down fall is the parking lot is small. Plus they charge 15.00 a day to park. We did not know we were going to be charged for parking until we arrived for check in.

Clean and casual near downtown.Located in the hub of San Diego, this 2-story inn is 1 mile from Old Town and 5 miles from downtown San Diego. Our 138 Guest Rooms are nonsmoking and feature classic cherry finish furnishings, suite bathrooms, additional seating areas, 32" flat screen cable television with HBO, free wireless internet and central air conditioning. All rooms are seeing updates and renovations in 2014. Refrigerators are in each room. Microwaves are available on request for a fee of $5.00 per night. Green Sustainability
We recycle rain water to feed our plant beds. We have self-timing shut offs for our guestroom lighting in case someone forgets to turn out the lights. Traditional light bulbs have been replaced with energy efficient LED bulbs throughout the facility. Our HVAC systems automatically adjust to moderate temperatures to avoid over-use. Each room and common area has its own HVAC system so that those not in use may be shut off. Water pitchers and reusable dispensers are provided for meetings in place of individual/disposable water bottles.
