My husband and I enjoyed our weekend at the Lodge. Rooms were clean and much nicer than we expected in a State Park. Gorgeous lake view from the balcony. Breakfast buffet was great. Lots of facility amenities and activities. Overall we had a great stay and will be back again.

Looking for state park lodging near Land Between the Lakes? If you want to spend a night or a weekend at Lake Barkley, cabins and campgrounds aren't your only choices. World-class Lake Barkley lodge, designed by Edward Durell Stone, seems to have just emerged naturally from the wooded shoreline that surrounds it. Using a post-and-beam wood construction of Western Cedar, Douglas fir, and three-and one-half acres of glass, the recently renovated Barkley Lodge complex provides a lake view from the private balconies of most of the 120 rooms and four suites. Open year-round. Rooms available by late afternoon. Lodge room check-out by 11:00am, local time. We are now pet friendly!
