Below are reviews of the city of Burnaby, BC from an actual visitor's perspective.
Attended a concert at Deer Lake Park. Beautiful location, easy to get to via public transit, friendly crowd, lots of bike rack access for those on wheels. Lovely flowers on the overpass across the road from park to bus stop. Friendly and accommodating bus driver. Nice range of food trucks at park for the event. Overall a lovely place to visit on a lovely occasion.
The location of the hotel, out of the Vancouver downtown area, was very quiet (no loud traffic, no sirens, etc.) and a couple of minutes drive from Metro Town, a very huge mall where you're guaranteed to find anything, and everything, that you need!
Enjoyed the Metro Town Mall.
We road bikes by Stanley Park that was really fun and taking the little ferries around the marina was nice as well.
Hot tub until midnight. Jetted tubs in rooms. No complaints.
The location is exceptional.
Soooo many restaurants!! Thai food, Indian, Pho, Italian, Shanghai, all within a five minute walk.
