Around the corner is "Playiada", a Greek village square covered by a robust wooden pergola and hosting a variety of boutiques, including a jeweller's, fashion apparel, kids' and beach wear, a souvenir shop and, last but not least, the lovely Greek Orthodox Chapel of Prophet Elias.Right there between the shopping arcade and the beach, tucked away under a shady olive grove, is the Italian restaurant “Aglio e Olio”, while a little further along the beach, at the little marina, is the “Odysseus” restaurant, right on the water's edge, serving lunch in high season with a superb selection of fresh seafood. Elegant attire is expected in all restaurants (no shorts or T-shirts in the evening).
