This room was adequate for our purpose. The water in the sink was always cold but the shower did get warm. the room was small. this may be one of the original first motels in Des Moines. We did not come to down for a pleasure trip. We came to pick up my daughter's ashes from the mortuary and have some sort of a closure with some of our family in Des Moines. This Motel was close to family area and the mortuary. Yes, it was somewhat adequate financially for our budget it made me feel like I was back in Belize in the Peace Corps.

My Grandson was in this room as it was a smoking room So with no ashtray my grandson was not comfort able in smoking. However, as I said in the other room we were not in town for a holiday we came to pick up my daughter's ashes and have some sort of closure with the family and friends in Des Moines.
