Best Time to Visit Sudbury, ON
Spring and autumn offer the perfect times of year to visit Ontario. Summers attract more tourists, which results in higher hotel prices, and the heat can get uncomfortable in July and August. The milder months bring more comfortable temperatures as well as reduced crowds at entertainment centers. You'll love the changing colors in fall, in particular, but spring delivers newly sprouted flora throughout the city.
If you're averse to rain, consider choosing fall over spring. You won't find yourself surprised by a sudden storm that ruins your outdoor plans. Additionally, you won't face the spring allergens that can make allergy sufferers miserable.
You might not want to visit Sudbury during winter unless you're interested in a ski vacation. The days are extremely cold and the nights colder, so you'll have to bundle up in bulky coats for every excursion. However, if you're looking for the most affordable time to visit Ontario, winter delivers. Just make sure to pack boots, coats, scarves, and gloves to protect yourself from the frigid wind.

Sudbury has a great Silver City Theatre and a small but nice casino. Sudbury also has a lot of busy traffic. We had a birthday dinner with our twelve year old granddaughter and her Mom and sibs at Kelsey Restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were great. We will definitely go back someday in the future. Thanks.
