We have stayed at the Hilton Main in Norfolk several times. It's a great property, with great rooms, dining options and workout facilities and a very friendly and helpful staff. This stay was a real disappointment. One of the three elevators stopped working on Tuesday, July 9, the day we checked in and was still not repaired when we departed on Saturday, July 13. This resulted in very long waits for elevators and elevators crowded beyond capacity — a completely unsafe situation made worse by the fact that there was a large convention in the hotel with many attendees staying in the hotel. I asked to speak to the hotel manager about this very unsafe situation and never hear from the manager. The Hilton organization can and should do better than this.
