My three day two night stay in cozy room equipped with soft sheets, fluffy towels and clean surfaces was complimented by a kind and professional staff. The access to locally owned restaurants, in unique venues with varied menus at reasonable prices was truly the icing on the cake. Pop down for a latte and delicious fresh baked delight or a glass of wine and tasty charcutier to wind down at the end of the day. I'll be back to enjoy this fabulous location in the beautiful Northern California locale.

Under new ownership as of April 1, 2015, Petaluma's own historic Hotel Petaluma is being resurrected as the grand hotel and pride of Sonoma county it once was when it first opened its doors in 1924. Currently undergoing a full-scale renovation and open for business, we are an anchor in the bustling downtown business district, bringing a new level of quality and service to the Petaluma experience for both visitors and locals alike.
Upon completion of the renovation, the 5-story hotel will boast over 90 guest rooms with upscale amenities, a grand lobby with courtyard entrance, and elegant event spaces well-suited for both professional and social gatherings.
The newest addition to our property is the rustic tasting room for Sonoma County's own Barber Cellars. Specializing in Zinfandels and oozing with local charm, they offer 50% off tastings for hotel guests and clients.
Hotel Petaluma features a beautiful 1900-square-foot ballroom and a 950-square-foot boardroom. Both rooms feature fully restored hardwood floors and windows, and period architectural detail. The hotel lobby features a wine bar and fireplace lounge, the perfect spot for unwinding or making new connections.
Event rentals always include room setup, tables with tablecloths, and chairs with chair covers. Catering, A/V, and other event services are currently provided by an esteemed group of preferred professionals. We will gladly assist in the coordination of all desired services for your event and refer you to our favorite caterers, event planners, and other event specialists based on your specific needs.
All our rooms are outfitted with free wireless internet, flat-screen televisions, cable with sports package, and king/queen beds with plush linens and bath amenities.
