The hotel is outdated. The pool is dirty. The rooms have crickets and roaches. Housekeeping comes whenever they're ready even upon request. They serve the same breakfast everyday.

Babe Ruth ahould be embarassed they had us stay in this dump for the Cal Ripken 9U WS. The place if filthy, bug infested and also rents to drug users. 3…Not 1, Not 2, but three drug busts were made during our stay. How could you put families in a hotel like this? Rude staff, poor amenities, etc etc. Bad job Babe Ruth bad job!

You get what you pay for, weird smelly hallways and lifts (if they work) dated rooms, minimal services if any most days. Noisy every night. No mini fridge or microwave. Rooms are hot and damp no fresh air.

If work is necessary, you can complete your tasks in the on-site business center and then head to the outdoor swimming pool to unwind. If you're feeling adventurous, you can go sightseeing in Sheffield, Florence or Muscle Shoals.
Mornings are a delight at the Clarion since the on-site Lobby Restaurant serves up a complimentary spread of southern favorites like biscuits with gravy and grits, sausage, eggs, as well as waffles, oatmeal and more. You can also stop by Fizz Bar & Grill for lunch and dinner, and enjoy live entertainment at the lounge bar on weekends.
