The Doubletree Club by Hilton Orange County Airport is one of two Doubletree properties in the vicinity, so it is important to double check you are at the correct hotel property. What sets this property apart from other hotels in the area is the spectacular lake literally next to the property with its resident ducks year-round. Those familiar with Hilton and Doubletree will find themselves right at home, as the property offers everything Hilton is known for. Rooms are spacious with a flat screen tv, work area, a sofa or lounge chair, comfortable “Sweet Dream” bedding, mini-fridge, cable, toiletries, and etc. This property is located less than a mile from the John Wayne Santa Ana Airport (free 24/7 shuttle service), 15 minutes from Newport Beach (local beach), a short drive to South Coast Plaza (great shopping), and easy freeway access & proximity to local toll roads. This Orange County property in Santa Ana is centrally located in Southern California; Disneyland is 20 minutes away, Knott's Berry Farm is 30 minutes, Los Angeles is 60 minutes or less with regular traffic and San Diego is a 2-hour drive. There is a $11 self- parking charge and $14 for Valet. Do not forget that Doubletree by Hilton is widely popular for its world famous chocolate chip cookie given at check –in.

I had a good stay. Room was clean and stocked. I went downstairs to the bar and found myself to be the only person. When I first checked in the hall on my floor smelled nasty. I'm not sure if it was dirty mop water or rotten eggs. The later is usually a sign of leaking gas but I don't think that was the case. I also wish they provided microwaves. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Doubletree Club Hotel Orange County Airport is located lakeside in the heart of Orange County's South Coast Metro Business Center and just a mile from John Wayne Airport.
