Albany Medical Center is near the hotel. The park around the corner is absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant downstairs had decent food at decent prices. There is also a KeyBank also at the hotel and a swimming pool.

I visited for a National Lacrosse League (NLL) game so I can't say much about the city itself...though I DO recommend Soho Pizza! The place has the biggest calzones I've ever seen and they are delicious!

I love Albany. I love the old, historic architecture. I love the city atmosphere. It is a beautiful city and the hotel is in the midst of this old pretty city.

I was so surprised as being the capital of New York State, the downtown was clean and quiet and we loved seeing the historic buildings being maintained which added a great view of the city when going to and from our event at the Times Union Centre. Can't wait to come back to experience more of your Beautiful City!
