The room had a strange smell. I can't really describe it, other than a combination of "musty" and "cleaning products". The remote control was sticky and power and volume controls didn't work.

The Holiday Inn Express in Albany is a very nice place to stay. The room is very spacious as well as the bathroom. The walk in shower is large and the vanity has a lot of space for the toiletries. The room has both a fridge and microwave which is nice as not all hotels offer both anymore. The bed was very comfortable. There is a breakfast included with a nice variety of items. I would definitely stay again.

Oregon State University (OSU), Reser Stadium, Gill Coliseum, Good Samaritan Hospital, Western University of Health Sciences; College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific NorthWest, COMP NW, Boulder Falls Conference Center, ODVA Oregon Department of Veteran Affairs Home are 10 miles away. We are close to Walmart, Weyerhaeuser, Oregon Freeze Dry, Lowes, Entek, Pennington Seed, ATI Wah Chang, Wilbur-Ellis, Knife River, Target Distribution, Linn Benton Community College, and Willamette Speedway. We are a pet-friendly hotel. New airport shuttle service from PDX Airport directly to hotel is available. Book City2City Shuttle online for shuttle rides to and from Eugene City Center and University of Oregon. Golf at Mallard Creek or Springhill while in the area.
