There are plenty of family-friendly attractions in Greece's capital city as well. The National Gardens are beautiful location to relax on a sunny afternoon. Take in the gorgeous view of the canopy of trees and brilliantly colored flowerbeds. If you're up for more of an active adventure, hike to the top of Mount Lycabettus, the highest point in Athens. Once you reach the top, you'll have a breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea and the Attica Basin.
