I used to love to go tothe Westin downtown in the 1980's. I just revisited it and there is a real decline. Its way to expensive and is not as nice as a Hampton Inn.

Went for the July 4th holiday and to celebrate my birthday. It was beautiful to get to the room, open the floor to ceiling window and watch fireworks take off around Atlanta and the surrounding areas. Jailin was very kind at check in and offered us an upgrade if we want to pay a little more. He was very engaging and kept us entertained as we waited for our keys. All of the staff was kind and helpful. It was great to even get a little treat when we walked through the lobby. We had a great time!
