Opened in 1940, the Streamline was a popular refuge for celebrities, race car drivers and even moonshine gangsters. During renovations tunnels were discovered where Now, fully restored with Art Deco style and elegance, its presence pays homage to a rich history and storied past. If our walls could talk. and the Birthplace of Stock Car Racing was forever cemented into our foundation. Our walls and even the elevator is adorned with one of kind photos and mementos from the History of NASCAR. The Rooftop Bar is an iconic location where the signing of the contract for NASCAR. Our rooftop viewing deck has a panoramic unobstructed view of the ocean and much of Daytona. Our hotel has a lot of history, and it has become so much more than just a historic landmark. Overlooking A1A and the Atlantic Ocean we create an atmosphere that transports you outside of Daytona.
We have 44 beautiful rooms. We have won numerous awards for hospitality including the Award of Excellence from Trip Advisor and the AAA triple diamond award. The City of Daytona has awarded us for our preservation and beautification efforts.
