We always enjoy coming to Wichita to go shopping, especially in this area. All the stores that we need to go to and are able to get the majority of our shopping done in no time at all. Restaurants are also outstanding in this area.

We loved the locations of the sporting centers and the ability to get to them without traveling through town. There were so many options for meals and the food at both Jumbo's Beef and Oak & Pie was amazing!! I would travel three hours just to get the “Jimmy the Greek” pizza from Oak & Pie again! The courts at the Hoops location were as expected. Overall, our experience in Wichita was positive and I'm hoping that the coach decides to compete in more tournaments there.

I love Wichita! One of the biggest cities in Kansas and it offers a lot. Great shopping, wonderful places to eat, fun entertainment, sporting events, etc.
Goddard, KS has a huge sports center with approx. 10 baseball fields for tournaments and they have a fairly nice water park that the kids enjoyed playing at. There were also tons of great places to shop and eat and several casinos were also within about 20 minutes of Wichita.

Since we were here for a wedding and visiting with family we had not seen for quite a while, we did not see much of the city. We did see several locations in Old Town and were very impressed. The Pump House was just amazing!!!

Wichita sure has all kinds of food options. I will say, we were quite surprised by the unlimited choices of places to eat. We enjoyed discovering Goodcents Sandwich Shop and Steak & Dog. We recommend both these places to visitors to this fair city!
