I always stay here when I do Ironman Waco 70.4. The hotel is very nice and it is located at the finishing line of the race. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'll stay there again.

Overall, good service and excellent dining. Room needed many repairs in the bathroom. The bathtub had leaked and rotted out wood around the tub. the toilet did not flush properly and was very noisy. I did not expect this at a Hilton. Also as a Rewards member, I was not offered a complimentary breakfast.

Hurricane Beryl shut down power/water and it was obviously was not going to be fixed soon. I'm familiar with Waco and decided it was far enough away to not be affected by the hurricane so I made reservations for two rooms for two nights. Well, this had to be extended a second two days and then one more day for a total of five nights, two rooms. I say this in all sincerity, EVERYONE one we came into contact there could not have been nicer and more accommodating. And when I say everyone, that ranges from the desk staff, maids, restaurant staff, maintenance folks, etc. The folks that take care of the breakfast area are pretty darn special. They are very helpful, friendly and just downright good folks. And yes, they sure set up one nice breakfast bar. While we didn't use the pool, it sure was inviting and just perfect for kids and adults. One thing that was a bit annoying was the A/C units seeming to have a mind of their own, with one a bit noisy. But they sure did cool the rooms, so know this is just a comment and not a complaint. All in all, we highly recommend this Hilton and know you will enjoy your stay.
