Inside, the house is a subtle blend of the classic and contemporary. The walls are dotted with portraits from the house's long history and, above you, are hand painted ceilings and gleaming chandeliers. Alongside these are deep, comfy sofas and muted, modern colours. Chilston Park, however, is about more than style alone. From the moment you arrive, we want you to treat the house as your private country retreat. While the setting of the restaurant is traditional, dining is all about easy-going enjoyment. Dishes change regularly to incorporate the best local ingredients with current favourites including sirloin of beef and Dover sole. To accompany your meal, delve into the wine list – our experienced team will be happy to guide you through our selection including
our rare whiskies and brandies. On sunny days, we offer al fresco dining on our lawns or terrace. For a light bite, head for the Marble Hall or Reading Room where we serve a selection of tempting dishes.

There is the intimate Library, which comfortably seats 14 or the impressive Star Room with its chandelier and views across the gardens. For larger events, there is the Fitzhammond Suite which seats 90, and the light, airy Orangery conservatory. Whichever you choose, our experienced team will make sure your evening runs smoothly – from the moment you arrive to the final sip of coffee.
These stately surroundings have always been a place for business leaders and original thinkers. To this day, there remains something about the setting that seems to bring out the best in people and the occasion – whether it is an important interview or sparkling awards ceremony. The hotel offers ten meeting rooms, with highlights in the main house including the Orangery being ideal for u-shape meetings, complete with direct access to the hotel's lawns. All rooms include high speed WiFi internet access and the latest technologies.

make a selection from the 'comfort food' menu including our seafood risotto made with locally caught fish.
