The Bodega Bay Lodge is located one hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge along the spectacular Sonoma Coastline. Overlooking Bodega Bay Harbor and the spectacular green bluffs of Bodega Head, the Bodega Bay Lodge is just a stones throw away from Doran Beach and the neighboring Links at Bodega Harbour, a championship Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed course.When purchased in 1972, the Lodge was a 36-room motel with rooms renting for $12. While the rooms included kitchenettes, the biggest selling point was the setting: a gently sloping hillside overlooking bird-filled marshes, flower-covered dunes and pristine beaches of the Sonoma County coast.The lodge's original rooms were redesigned and rebuilt and another 42 rooms and suites were added, bringing the total to 79.
