I was planning a trip to the area for my college reunion and I booked a hotel room at the Sheraton Fairplex. This hotel delivered so much more than a "hotel room" that I look forward to my next reunion and my next stay at the Sheraton Fairplex. I was treated with warmth and professionalism as soon as I entered the hotel. There is nothing haughty about the staff here. The room I booked turned out to be a suite. It wasn't big It was just designed intelligently with attention to colors and textures that made the accommodation soothing. The bed gave me such a good night's sleep that I wrote down the name of the mattress before I checked out. The housekeeping staff was warm, professional and attentive. As for the food, after dining out with friends at various local restaurants during my stay, I finally sampled the cuisine at the hotel. The dinner I was served in the sports bar on my final night was at least as good as the fare at those local restaurants and my server could have given a TED talk on the art of table service. This is where I will stay for my next reunion and where I will suggest that my friends stay. What a find.
