The lobby area of this hotel is stunning and I felt like I was walking into a plantation style home. There is a beautiful fire place greeting you and a large breakfast area. The hotel serves a full hot breakfast each day and Monday to Thursday an evening manager's reception for free. It is located very close to the aiport, apx. 2 miles and has an airport shuttle. They are not pet friendly. The area is quiet and behind the breakfast area there is an enclosed swimming pool area with plenty of furniture and two outdoor gas grills. Behind the pool building there is a putting course. There are two sides to the hotel, so if you use the wrong elevator to get to your room, you will have to go back to the lobby to take the other elevator. Medium lighting in the halls. All guest rooms have two rooms, one living area and a seperate bedroom area. Although the hotel is 13 years old, the furniture was is nice shape. The bed had fluffly white linens and looked very comfortable and plush. The bathroom was standard. The kitchen area had nice cupbords, but the appliances seemed a bit older and outdated. The sofa pulls out into a sleeper bed. I really like the fact that each room has two separate rooms, so it is more like a small one bedroom studio apartment than a standard hotel room. The gentleman at the front desk was great and very accommodating with my requests. Although I have been in nicer Homewoods, this hotel is still a very nice hotel and I can recommend it to business travelers or weekend leisure groups needing the space, and breakfast.

Our Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel is located near the Charlotte Douglas International Airport area. Also, we are conveniently located only minutes from Uptown Charlotte, Time Warner Cable Arena, Panther Stadium, Nascar Hall of Fame, Lowe's Motor Speedway, Billy Graham Library, US White water rafting center and the Paramount's Carowinds Amusement Park.We offer full size suites with separate bedroom and living room areas, a daily breakfast buffet, an evening managers reception monday through thursday with beer wine and light dinner fare. Also, we have meeting space for the small groups up to 45 people.We also offer an outdoor pool with a putting green and work out facility on site. Along with FREE Wireless internet access.
