Property Description
Gateway Canyons resort is located in the red rock canyons of Western Colorado, just 45 miles south of Grand Junction, a luxury outpost in the heart of the American West. Built by the creator of the Discovery Channel, John Hendricks and inspired by the beauty and history of the area, he began to design a resort that would incorporate his core values as well as help bolster the region's economy. Our Kiva and Kayenta lodge offers 58 rooms and are constructed in adobe-style architecture offering a luxury product. Our state-of-the-art LEED certified Palisade Event Center offers 8,778 square feet of meeting space as well as 2,500 square feet of outdoor patio space. We have our own on-site Adventure Center offering a variety of activities including jeep and ATV tours, kayaking, canoeing and tubing in the Dolores River, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, climbing and personalized leadership development and team building programs. Visit our three restaurants and our on-site spa and work out room. Experience the area with a helicopter tour or by horseback with our Equestrian Center. The Gateway Auto Museum features is world class and offers over 45 of John Hendrick's personal collection of vintage automobiles walking you through 100 years of automotive history.
