Location is great right on the River Walk with a park on one side and restaurants and shops on the other. Very dog friendly. Very pleasant rooms.

Kimpton Riverplace Hotel was so warm and caring. I almost felt like I was staying with new friends. The staff was responsive to my needs even to the point of one of the front desk coming around to help me with pinning in place a part of my Tribal regalia. I would recommend for anyone to come experience this hotel. I travel a lot and this is one place I would definitely request to stay again.

This hotel is on the river with a river walk that is very pleasant. There are numerous restaurants on the river walk. The Italian restaurant is one of the best in Portland. The breakfast at the hotel is great and the outdoor patio has an excellent view of the river.
