The Holiday Inn Wilkes Barre at East Mountain is nestled on a foothill of the Pocono Mountains with scenic views of the Wyoming Valley or the Pocono mountains. Come inside and find a spacious lobby - two restaurants - Wildflowers (serving breakfast daily) and The NY Bistro Restaurant and Lounge (serving appetizers, hand-helds, and dinner at 4pm daily), large indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, and a state of the art fitness center. Meeting and banquet space is available with all new sound proof walls, as well as a complimentary business center, parking and WIFI. The hotel has plenty of green space with our outdoor patio "The Verandah", gazebo, playground for the kids, a fire pit in the spring, summer and fall months and "Igloos" in the wintertime. We are less than one mile from the Mohegan Sun Casino and minutes away from The Wyoming Valley Mall and the "Arena Hub" shopping areas. Coming to a concert? We are close to the Mohegan Sun Arena, FM Kirby Center and Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain. Coming to a local sporting event - We're also close to the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins Hockey or Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders Baseball Games. We are conveniently located at Exit 170A of I-81 and minutes from the NE Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. We'd love to host your group at our facility - we have so much to offer you!
