I made a reservation a month ago. Then hurricane Debbi was predicted for the days we were planning to stay in Pawley's island. I'm 87 years old and no longer drive. The person I hired to drive me there said she would not go because there was a significant chance of bad weather and flooding. I called days in advance to cancel our stay and was advised I had to contact the company that insured our reservation. I'm still waiting for a refund of over $300.

I have stayed at this hotel four or five times in the past three yrs. I stay here because it's always clean and things work as they should. No frills; the property is not new, but I can get breakfast at the breakfast bar, get a workout in at the fitness center and the location is close to everything in Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet. Price is quite affordable for what I get.
